Savvy Minerals Makeup
Having a flawless face does not have to come at the expense of your health! Did you know that Europe bans over 1,300 chemicals found in cosmetics because they know they are unsafe. Guess how many the U.S. bans?….8. Just let that sink in for a minute. There are ingredients in cosmetics they know are bad for us but they are allowed anyway.
I LOVE makeup, like a lot. My obsession started as a kid when I was finally allowed to buy Bonne Bell lipglosses. I don’t even want to think about what all is in there. Or how about this year when a major retailer had to recall makeup for little girls because it had been found to contain asbestos. Yep, that’s right…they were totally fine with your tiny tot smearing that on their face until you found out. I noticed that once I switched my makeup over to Savvy Minerals by Young Living my skin began to clear up. Now I’m no scientist but I really believe its because the makeup I was using had known endocrine disruptors in it. I was always having major breakouts in the hormone zone. (You can google face map to see areas you are having breakouts and what it means)
If you’re ready to see what is in your makeup check sites like the ewg.org or download the app Think Dirty and start looking your stuff up. I promise you will be shocked! Even things that promise “all natural, organic, etc” are basically nothing more than a marketing ploy. I chose Savvy Minerals because I love the makeup and how versatile it is, it doesn’t break my skin out, and it’s free from talc, parabens, bismuth, phthalates, petrochemicals, and synthetic fragrances. I already use so many Young Living products in my home that this is just one more step into keeping our home healthy.
So I’m sharing my live of Savvy Minerals with you! Below I will be posting a ton of tutorials. Some of these will be broken down by step, others will be a whole face of makeup. If you ever need help with how to purchase Savvy Minerals just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I truly believe that every woman deserves the right to feel good about herself and have makeup she can enjoy without compromise. I hope you enjoy and learn some new tricks!
